    272B. Mathematical Aspects of Fluid Mechanics. Lecture, three hours. Requisite: course 272A. Review of basic theory of moving continua, fluid equations, integral theorems. Simple solutions, flow created by slowly moving bodies, flows where viscosity is negligible, vortices, boundary layers and their separation, water waves, ship waves, compressional waves, shock waves, turbulence theory (overview).
